Pretty easy to use

I needed to make a quick product tour for our new feature. Storylane was pretty intuitive, I just jumped in and started building. The browser extension capture worked well. It was much easier than trying to stitch together screenshots and videos myself. Didn't have any major headaches getting it set up, which was nice.

Good value for annual plan

I was looking for a demo builder and saw the 20% off for annual billing on Storylane. That sealed the deal for me. It felt like a good saving compared to paying monthly. The signup was straightforward.

Decent demo tool, small issues

I tried out Storylane for creating some interactive product demos. The no-code builder was pretty easy to get the hang of, and the RepX Chat feature was useful for adding a personal touch. Setting up the multi-flow demos took a bit longer than I expected, the interface was occasionally a little slow to respond. Overall, it's a solid tool, but there's room for small improvements in performance.

Comprehensive demo platform

Our team used Storylane for creating several interactive product demos and sandbox environments. The initial setup of the account and integrating with our CRM (HubSpot) was smooth. We particularly liked the Demo Personalization feature, which allowed us to tailor experiences for different lead segments. The analytics dashboard provided good insights into demo engagement. While the core features are strong, the learning curve for some advanced functionalities, like complex multi-flow demos, was steeper than anticipated. Customer support was responsive when we had questions about the HTML demos, usually getting back to us within a few hours. We also found the team collaboration workspace helpful for streamlining our demo creation process.

Is Storylane really that much better than Navattic? Trying to decide between the two for my team.

J June J. 2 months ago
I've used both. Storylane feels more robust for enterprise stuff, especially with the personalization and analytics. Navattic is good too, but Storylane just has more depth.

From my experience, Storylane's builder is a bit more intuitive. Plus, their RepX chat feature is pretty slick for sales teams.

Can you actually do demos for mobile apps with Storylane or is it just for web stuff?

M Mia Vargas 2 months ago
Yep, they can do mobile app captures! That was a big plus for us when we were choosing.

Thinking about signing up for Storylane, but wondering about payment options. Can I pay monthly or is it annual only?

B Ben Lindqvist 1 month ago
Yeah, they definitely have monthly. But if you do annual, you get a discount. I switched last year and it saved me a bit.

You can do both! I started monthly to test it out then upgraded to annual to save some cash after I saw how useful it was.

Hey, thinking about Storylane for our startup. Are there any special deals for new companies? Money's tight, you know.

I Ivy D. 2 months ago
Oh for sure! I know they have a program for early-stage startups, you should check it out. Can get some decent credits.

My buddy got a pretty sweet discount through an accelerator program they partnered with. Worth looking into their startup programs.

How many demos can you even make on the free plan? Just trying to get a feel for if it's enough to actually try it out.

K Kevin T. 2 months ago
You can make a good few to get started, enough to really test the waters before committing. I think it's like 3 or 5, can't remember exactly.

It's enough to build a solid proof-of-concept for sure. Not unlimited, but not super restrictive either for a free tier.
